A show of which the central theme is “Death”, treated in an intimate, dramatic and ironic way; a search by means of theatrical images, that leads us to the heart of the matter: to construct a piece of theater so as not to die.
“On the Heart of the Earth” reveals clearly Cristina’s Latin American roots. Developing a highly emotive theatrical technique and, above all, her own particular poetic of expression, she becoms the spokesperson for many small and anonymous stories of life and death; stories that have their origin in personal lived experience, but which are also profoundly connected to the memory of a people, a land and a collective past.
